The kaleidoscopic, multi-layered themes in Sticky Jim’s work illustrate the artist’s fascination with multiple reality existence in a restricted and destructive consumerist world. His use of obsolescent man-made materials as a canvas for bold colour and stencilled pattern techniques are strongly reminiscent and representative of our lives in the modern world.
Sticky Jim believes we are not alone, that many things exist beyond our daily parameters. He sands his work, scratching away at the surface to find new layers, new textures of life – old and new, all existing at the same point in time. No past, no future, just now.
Welcome to Sticky Jim’s psychedelic street and junk art bazaar. All doors are open.
